Baby May is Coming

Letter sent May 16, 2016:

Guess whaaat! I am so so so excited for next transfer because I GET TO TRAIN! I've never been so excited for anything. I get to get a brand new little missionary from the MTC and teach her all the things. I'M. SO EXCITED. Also Sister Wilson will be training as well. So all we talk about now is how excited we are for the babies and what we're going to do with them and how excited we are. WE'RE SO EXCITED. I cannot say that enough.

We love walking the streets of Jönköping. This was last Monday...it was SO WARM. We were amazed. I was too hot in that jacket. It felt so good.

Tuesday we met with Dora. She took us to this fairytale little ice cream shop in the middle of all this forest-ness. This ice cream was divine. And the company was even better. We had to walk past the cutest graveyard and through all these trees to get here. And there was a colorful castle painted on the wall of the building. The outside of the building just said, "godisfabriken" and then "Här gör vi så gott vi kan" which was just adorable in Swedish. It doesn't sound as cute in english.

Splits with Syster Bateman

Bought yummy strawberries from a street vendor
Wednesday we went on splits. Syster Bateman came to Jönköping! We had so much fun together. She is adorable. Dad, I hope that you and her dad are finally satisfied. I learned so much from her and asked her a ton of questions about training.

Thursday we had zone training in Västra Frölunda. And guess who is visiting Sweden who came to say hi? Sister Bass! I guess her name isn't sister anymore. But yeah, my MTC teacher! We learned so much from zone training. Which we have been applying to the work and has already affected so much! We've seen miracles this week with Dora and Dao and Earth! It was amazing!

Yem, Dao and Earth's niece, made us these adorable little necklaces. They're the little bead things that you iron to make stick together. She made them for us during school which I just find to be the cutest thing in the world that she was thinking of us during school! She always has new little art things that she's done recently. Like making paper roses and decorating their living room walls with them. CUTE.

We met with Dora again and she had this little artwork that she had made a couple years ago laid out for me on the table. sister Wilson received one also. She gave us this mars capon(?) with lingon sauce.  The center of my art is a bunch of earrings that she welded together. I love her. And she just loves the gospel. It's an absolute dream to teach her.

Sunday it rained all day long and we were just outside talking to people. We were drenched by the end. Haha it was fun. We also went to Hamid's house for dinner. Then Sunday night we got the call that has changed our lives. (training calls). We were freaking out and squealing like children. We are both just so excited to get babies!

Guess who else popped up in the Jönköping ward Sunday morning! Megan Elwood from good old Logan High School! She walked in and I was like, wait a second..LHS? We didn't coordinate our picture taking skills very well and I just looked at her camera the whole time but yeah! Small world! She's on a study abroad with some friends from USU.

We'll be going to Stockholm AGAIN this week for a train the trainers meeting. I don't think any one has ever traveled so much to Stockholm in one transfer before. Plus we'll have to travel there again next week to pick up the babies. SO EXCITED!!!!!

Sweden is cool. I'm amazed every day by the people that we talk to. They all have such cool ideas and thoughts. I learn so much from everyone here; investigators, members, my companion, randoms. I love missionary work.

Have a rad week.
Syster May
