Meeting the Fambam

Tjena!

DAHH okay this week was so good! We met with Emilliano a couple times (boy who just showed up to sacrament meeting last week) and set up a baptismal date with him. Oh my goodness he just blows my mind when he talks. His dad is Muslim so he grew up a little bit that way but he told us that when he would pray that way, he felt nothing but when he started to pray the way our church teaches it, he can feel a difference. Like it actually works. And he was asking us about the Holy Ghost and if everyone could feel it or if it was only people who were baptized and we were telling him that everyone can feel it, it just isn't all the time until you have the gift of the Holy Ghost after you're baptized. And he was like, "I think I've felt the Holy Ghost before..when I started to read in the Book or Mormon." Ooh he's so good. I just can't even describe it. He was like, I want to get to the celestial kingdom. How do I get there? He has so much desire and faith and hope already.

On Friday we went to Bibi's house! I'm still amazed that she lives right in our area. We called her earlier in the week and she said that we could come on Friday because her son, Roland, was going to be there and he could speak English better than she can. We were like, uhhh, we're speaking in Swedish right now...it's shouldn't be a problem. Haha it was adorable. It was like a little family reunion. We went and she had pulled out all these family history compilation books that grandma had given her and the book of pictures from when mom and her sisters had went to visit and she was so excited about it all. Turns out she had a picture of me from when I was younger and I told her and she was like, "what!? that's you?" It was super super neat. And she showed me these old old pictures of her grandparents or great grandparents. Like, the original copies from the 1800's. It was legit. We had a little fika (super swedish..it's like just little pastries or food and drink). Then she showed us around her house and gave us these darling little birds made of wool that she made. And she gave me a jultompten (santa claus) that she had made the same way. Then the actual funniest thing happened. We took pictures together and she was trying to send the picture to grandma on facebook and she was having Roland's wife type it out in English and then when she took the phone back she was like, "what does this button do?" And pressed the garbage can button and then she screamed and jumped up and was so worried that she had just deleted a contact out of her phone. It was darling.
Changed to my third-warmest jacket

We started teaching a little Swedish class this week. Two less active's really want to learn Swedish, Mishu and Monday, so we told them that we could teach them Swedish when we meet with them. So it works out well for both of us. On Friday night we had our first little class and afterwards we all walked to Jakobsberg station together it was like we were just little bff's and it was so fun. Mishu told us this hilarious story from work and then Monday started busting up but he just has this hilarious little giggle. It was so fun.

I love you. I love this gospel. I love Christ. I'm so grateful for my testimony and knowledge of the truth. I'm grateful for the decisions that I've made in my life that allow me to feel the joy and love of God every second of my life. I'm grateful that everyone, no matter what decisions they've made, can turn to God and feel the same love.

Ha det så bra denna vecka! Jag älskar var och en av er!

med kärlek, Syster May

OH. ps also we got asked to do a musical number in sacrament meeting next sunday. Basically we all play the piano and they want us to sing. But don't even worry. I lucked out as the accompanist.
