Hello!
This past week was crazy. On our way to the church Syster Christensen and I were trying to remember things that had happened and then we just started realizing that all this stuff had happened and it was all within the past week. It feels like weeks ago.
Last Monday was so fun. We went to Visingsö and rented bikes and cycled around the island and looked at these old castle ruins. Apparently the first king ever of Sweden lived on Visingsö. His castles weren't that cool so like, so much for being royalty. But the servants living quarters, that was nice.
This past week we've been trying to get to know the members better. There are so many wonderful people that live here in Jönköping ward and it's so fun to learn more about them and their lives and conversion, stories and everything. We also taught Dao and Earth a couple times. One time we came up with this plan of how to teach the restoration through the pictures at the front of the book of mormon as a review for them and it was actually super cool. I can't really describe it, but just know it was legit. I love teaching Dao and Earth. At the end of the lessons Earth is always like, "Prayer?" And gets down on his knees. It feels like family prayer.
This week me and sister Christensen went on a Musli run. Musli is like raw oats and tiny dried fruit together and it's like cereal kind of. We were in desperation because we ran out. It's so good. I'm pre-sad that it doesn't exist in America. Except at Ikea.
We had district meeting this week in Borås. One of the downfalls of being the only sisters in the district means that we get overruled when it comes to deciding where we're going to eat after district meeting. We ended up at (another) chinese buffe. I think I'm becoming more like mom; can't handle the chinese food. But then I think about Panda Express orange chicken and I know I've still got the capacity to down that stuff. divine.
This week we have mission tour. I am scared. President...or Elder...Dykes is coming and apparently he just wants everything tip top and timely. We had to role play our positions for the picture we are going to be taking with him before the conference begins. Intense. And then practice filing single file away from said positions and standing in a completely silent line while "the Malmö zone will be taking their picture" and then we continue to stand completely still with minimal breathing while President Dykes goes down the line and personally greets each one of us. So hopefully I don't get the hiccups or something and ruin the whole thing. I'm excited for it though. It should be amazing. We're all fasting together as a mission before so that will be cool.
Prepare for many pictures of the island.
